HOC Missions 2009
Saturday and Sunday in Budapest

=) Hello!
Youth Day was a success.  We played a game called Trees and Squirrels and everyone really loved it.  I have some hilarious video clips.  Pastor Yang and his wife were so good at the game!!!  They really have youthful hearts.  Praise the Lord.
After playing the game, we caravaned to a little European tourist cluster right before we went to a MEDIEVAL RENAISSANCE FAIRE right under the old castle of King Alabad.  We ate Medieval Hungarian food…  That was quite an experience.  And then, we visited the 4th biggest cathedral in Europe…  It was big.  WE WALKED UP A SPIRAL STAIRCASE TO THE DOME OF THE CATHEDRAL!!!  That was an exciting and dizzying experience.  After that, we visited a castle, and a palace.  I don’t know which was which but they were both pretty.  And then, we enjoyed the nightscape of Budapest and the Danube.  There were fireworks.  =)  That made up for the 4th of July.
During the day, we were able to share a lot with the Czech and Hungarian youth.  The fruit of the day: two committed guys who are willing to lead the Hungarian youth.  Praise the Lord.  We were so touched.
On Sunday, Delia showed great obedience and maturity and went on a trip to another city with Pastor Joseph and Pastor Peter.  We had a little bit of free time to shop here, and then we practiced for the performances given at night.  We ate dinner at church and the evening service was great.  I didn’t have much time to participate in the service because the Czech youth had material that they wanted from my computer.  We wiped out a whole iphone to put on songs that I had gotten from Johnny.  They love them.  Thanks, Johnny.  Praise the Lord we had them.
Sunday night, Delia, Steph and I debriefed for a LONG time but it was good.  We all learned a lot.  God really grew us and I’m so glad we had a chance to work together.
Today, we are going out with Robin.  He is a part of the other Hungarian youth group right now.  He will be coming to America mid-August to attend Biola University!  I have talked to him a lot about it and I would like our congregation to help him a bit.  He will be there by himself.  His family will be staying in Budapest.
Okay then.  Praise the Lord, Praise the LORD, PRAISE THE LORD!  =)  God has been soooo good and we have been soooo blessed!
Have a good day.  See you in LA soon!
by His grace,becca
